Situation
A need to fight for the implementation of the Tobacco Control Act 2007, an act that had already been passed to regulate and enforce laws on smoking and tobacco use in Kenya.
Solution
We created the Tobacco Free 254 movement, a digitally driven campaign to influence policy change by creating awareness and rallying public support.
The plan ran across radio, social media, SMS, website, on-ground and petitioning.
Results
This strategic campaign began in June 2014 and went through 3 major executions phases until successful Act implementation.
